We are located directly beside the Lexington Health Department building.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-1pm. Please note that the office may be closed during periods of school breaks and occasionally during regular office hours if our staff is out working on the fields - in the case of these situations, we will have a sign on the door with cell numbers for our program coordinators.
Is RARO just for kids?
No! RARO offers programs for adults and kids. RARO is working to offer more programming for adults.
How do I register for a program?
Go to our program catalog to find the program that you want to register for. You will need to have a civicrec account setup - if you are trying to register a kid for a program, make sure you have added them to your account. If you already have an account, login and you should be able to register from your home computer or smart phone.
What does the registration fee cover?
Depending on the program, the fee helps cover the cost of provided equipment, Sanctioning fee's, Uniforms, & Supplies
Do you provide financial assistance for any of your programs?
Yes, we offer financial assistance for most of our youth sport programs.
Who Qualifies for Financial Assistance?
Financial Assistance is available for families that are receiving any form of government assistance. In order to qualify for Financial Assistance, families will have to complete the financial assistance form annually (it is good for the fiscal year from July1 -June 30 each year).
Do you accept a credit/debit card?
Yes. If you want to pay with cash or card you will have to come into the office.
Can I register my child for more than 1 sport in the same season?
Generally, our Intro to sports programs (ages 5 & 6) are designed to let kids experience different sports, so....yes they may do more than 1 in the same season.
All Rookie, Junior, and Senior programs would conflict each other with practices and games, so...not at this time.
When can I expect to hear about the start of a program?
You should receive an email from a RARO program coordinator 1-2 weeks before the start of a program using the email address associated with your account. Please check spam and junk folders to be sure that you don't miss anything from us. In our youth programs, once teams are drafted, the majority of communication about the season will come from the coach.
When are the RARO Board meetings?
1st Wednesday of Every month. Check our website on the homepage for meeting time and location.
What age groups are offered in the RARO programs?
Intro (5 & 6 year olds)
Rookie (7 & 8 year olds)
Junior (9 & 10 year olds)
Senior (11 - 13 year olds)*13 year old exception for football
Adults (18 and older)
