Pickleball is a racket (paddle) sport that involves elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. The game is played with either 2 or 4 players. The equipment used is a wooden or composite paddles, net, and perforated ball (much like a wiffle ball, but with 26-40 holes.

General Pickleball InformationIntroductory Course:
A 4-week intro course teaching you everything you need to know to get started playing pickleball will take place this spring. The class is set for Wednesdays beginning 3/27/24. Actual dates (3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17). If you have any questions, please contact the office. All participants must be registered to participate in this class.
Open Court Play: Cost:$10 per month
Come out and enjoy playing pickleball in this open court format. Participants that are registered with RARO can show up and play. There are 3 courts available and participants rotate through playing against each other. This is a great physical activity and social time. This spring, we will be offering open court play at 2 locations (pending registration numbers) on Monday (MRMS) and Wednesday (Rivermont).
